Well today I'm looking at some effective herbs for managing weight...
While doing the research I'll throw up some interesting resources as I find them, then hopefully come back -with a nice big cup of coffee - and summarize it all... :)
Factors in Weight Management
1. Physical activity (aerobic fat burning choices)
2. Nutrition and meal choices (eliminating the major offenders)
3. Hormonal impacts (cortisol, thyroid...)
4. Medications (lithium, antidepressants... steroids)
5. Emotions (habits, nurturing... )
6. Sleep cycle and stress

Strategies of Dietary Supplements for Weight Management:
1. suppress appetite (hoodia, grape seed extract...)2. increase metabolism (caffeine/EGCG, coconut oil, fucoxanthin... )
3. inhibit absorption (dandelion, grape seed extract)
4. stimulate digestion (ginger, laxative herbs like cascara sagrada)
