Today I'm trying to find out all I can about Withanolides.
These are secondary metabolites found in plants of the nightshade family (Solanaceae) -same family as tomatoes...
So description so far: 28 carbon -steroidal backbones bound to lactones...

MANY of these out there.... well over 400! Do all kinds of things -especially insect and herbicidal... Some have medicinal value.
